J. P. Pilch website

A modern minimal luxury website with countertop configurator and a quote request calculator

Client: J. P. Pilch
Year: 2026
Role: Design & development
Stack: Next.js + App Router · React 19 · Supabase / Postgres · Tailwind CSS · RLS & security-definer RPCs · Vercel + Analytics · Server components + ISR

The public site for a natural-stone workshop, rebuilt from WordPress in Next.js and connected to the workshop’s own database so the catalogue has a single source of truth. Includes an in-browser configurator where customers draw their worktop — cutouts, edge finishes and all — and submit it as a structured document the workshop turns straight into a quote.

Screenshots

The public face of a stone workshop trading since 1985, moved off WordPress and Elementor onto Next.js — and wired into the workshop’s live catalogue so the inventory is maintained in exactly one place.

Website showcase of beautiful natural stones like Marble, Granite, onyx with responsive design, cleaver features and sleek hoover animations — A database view is the security boundary, not application code. The site reaches Postgres as anon through views that expose only marketing-safe columns. The rule enforced throughout: the site never writes to the workshop’s tables, and never holds a service-role key.
