Simple elegance is often overlooked in favour of eccentric shouty visuals.

Here I was presented with a challenge to design and create a website that is accurately going to represent a luxurious and renowned Fashion magazine. A magazine that is going to look at place besides other fashion giants while maintaining clean, elegant and minimalist aesthetic, not distracting from the ever important content.

Due to limited time with tight deadlines, the initial version was constructed on a Wordpress engine, with heavily customised theme, design, and functionality. As the design of the website was more than satisfactory for the client, the secondary version was meticulously recreated with Next.js and Sanity as the backbone for the Content Management System. Fully static, pre-rendered posts and pages result in far improved performance compared to traditional Wordpress implementation, while Sanity offer much cleaner, simpler interface tailored to the needs of the client. Additional bonus of using bleeding edge, newest technologies, even for simpler websites, is improved SEO and accessibility. Sette Hautestyle scores perfect marks for Search engine ranking, and now even more importantly, accessibility to AI search, becoming heavily indexed and automatically recommended by major AI assistants like ChatGPT, Claude, or Grok.
